Gardening tips | Types of rosebushes
Hedgerow rosebushes with large blooms
These reflower abundantly until the first frosts even in the first year they are planted. They bear large, perfectly formed often single flowers. They are rustic and live for many years.
height : 60 to 110 cm. Ideal for making bouquets.
Hedgerow rosebushes with clustered blooms
These differ from the above type because of their clusters of flowers; each stalk bears several small or medium-sized blooms. This makes them perfect for a decorative effect; we suggest you only plant one variety per bed so that you obtain a coloured patch effect. They reflower often, are rustic and bloom abundantly. They are the most economical type of rose and require the least work.
height : 60 to 40 cm. Good for bouquets.
Climbing rosebushes with large blooms
Climbing roses reflower but generally do not flower until the second year after they have been planted. Their roses are identical to those of hedgerow bushes.
They are tough and flower abundantly and spread over a large area.
Climbing rosebushes with small or medium blooms
These are extremely hardy and spread over large surface. Their flowers are clustered so abundantly that the effect is absolutely dazzling. These varieties reflower.
